TRA-VISIONS 2014

Majority of winners at TRA-Visions Com­pe­ti­tion 2014 used CAESES/FFW: Of the five teams receiv­ing prizes, three used CAESES/FFW in their projects, includ­ing the winning team from the Uni­ver­sity of Bremen, who per­formed a study of SWATH ships for offshore oper­a­tions. Special con­grat­u­la­tions to Hélio Bailly Guimarães for his 3rd place prize, as the only com­peti­tor who worked on his project alone.

Hélio spent four months as an intern at FRIEND­SHIP SYSTEMS where he did research on his Masters thesis. The project which he sub­mit­ted to TRA Visions was entitled ​“Robust Design Opti­miza­tion for Oper­a­tional Profiles”.
