featureprogramming

In his latest blog post, one of our developers has just revealed an amazing little Christmas gift for all our CAESES® users: A summary of Effective Feature Programming”. It’s a great read for improving your Feature Definitions in CAESES®, while at the same time it gives you a comprehensive overview of the existing functionality. Get your copy right now:

What are Features?

CAESES® Features are small user-defined command sequences that are wrapped in a definition (similar to a script). Check out this video for a very short introduction. Features allow CAESES® users to write their own programs and GUIs in CAESES®. Basically, within an easy-to-understand scripting environment you can make use of all the CAESES® commands: Loops, if-statements, file I/O, functions, GUI-customization, macros, … even debugging — no limits! So far, there hasn’t been a single task that we couldn’t solve with Feature Definitions — this core functionality of CAESES® is surely one of the most powerful and exciting parts of our software!

Enjoy reading and… happy holidays :-)
