Suc­cess­ful Training in Shanghai

CAE­SES/FRIEND­SHIP-Frame­work Users’ Training was held in Hongqiao Guest Hotel, Shanghai on 1st, Dec. 2014.

Over 40 engi­neers from more than 20 com­pa­nies related to naval archi­tec­ture or offshore engi­neer­ing attended the training. Dong Jiang, the support engineer from FRIEND­SHIP SYSTEMS intro­duced the high­lights of the newest release CAESES version 3.1. The state-of-art func­tion­al­ity was highly praised by the atten­dees. Engi­neers from our new customer MARIC (708) shared their knowl­edge of inte­gra­tion between RAPID and CAESES. The live demo of CAESES / Sesam HydroD inte­gra­tion from Dong Jiang also inter­ested the engi­neers from the offshore industry.

In the after­noon hands-on training, atten­dees worked on fully para­met­ric modeling of a bulbous bow and a very prac­ti­cal sample-bulb retrofit.
