Ship Opti­miza­tion Lecture for EMship Students in Nantes

Around 20 students who are taking part in the European Masters Course in Inte­grated Ship Design (EMship) joined a ​“Ship Opti­miza­tion” lecture and workshop given by Mattia Brenner and Dr. Stefan Harries at Ecole Centrale de Nantes in June 2014. After the­o­ret­i­cal input on ship opti­miza­tion a hands-on training com­ple­mented with a com­pe­ti­tion provided an insight into the prac­ti­cal appli­ca­tions of sim­u­la­tion-driven design with CAESES® / FRIEND­SHIP-Frame­work.
