Pre­sen­ta­tion at INT-NAM 2014

Today, former FRIEND­SHIP SYSTEMS team member and EMship (European Masters Course in Inte­grated Advanced Ship Design) student Hélio Bailly Guimaraes pre­sented a paper about Retro­fitting Vessels for Opti­mized Fuel Con­sump­tion” at the 2nd Inter­na­tional Sym­po­sium on Naval Archi­tec­ture and Maritime, a con­fer­ence orga­nized by the Yıldız Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­sity in Istanbul, Turkey.

The research on retro­fitting of vessels in oper­a­tion was realized within the research and devel­op­ment project ReFIT, granted within the ERA-NET MARTEC Call 2010, with FRIEND­SHIP SYSTEMS being funded by the German Federal Ministry of Eco­nom­ics and Tech­nol­ogy (BMWi). Hélio con­tributed to this research within his Master’s thesis.
