Effec­tive col­lab­o­ra­tion across the miles

Friend­ship Systems AG and Hydro­Comp Inc. of Durham, NH have com­pleted an inter­na­tional col­lab­o­ra­tive project for an opti­mized autonomous under­wa­ter vehicle (AUV) hull design. This was done by using the prin­ci­pal software tools of both com­pa­nies as a coupled solution. Geo­met­ric modeling and opti­miza­tion was per­formed by the Friend­ship Systems CAESES tool with hydro­dy­namic analysis con­ducted in Hydro­Comp NavCad.
